The first website project started in February 2012.

It is an ongoing project carried out within the national Dora Stratou Dance Theatre in Athens.

It contains material from the collections and the library of Alkis Raftis.

It is part of the HISTORY OF DANCE portal.

The contents of the initial website were transferred by Ms. Anahit Saribekyan to the present website in May 2018, and subsequently enriched.

Sculpture (statues, reliefs and other objects) was initially presented in the website Dance in Ancient Greek sculpture, then integrated and complemented in the present website.

This pandect is accompanied by a compiler of texts and images under the title Ancient Greek Dance revival. It contain works of art, studies and events inspired by Ancient Greek dance.
